A Look Back at an Incredible Summer & What’s Ahead for 2026

A Summer to Remember

The 2025 summer season was one for the record books! From global qualifiers to major collaborations and community meet-ups, the Freestyle Trampoline Association (FTA) continued its mission to bring the freestyle movement to every corner of the world.

This year, we hosted or supported over 50 events across 21 countries, uniting athletes, fans, and brands around the shared passion for flipping, creativity, and freedom of expression. Highlights included:

  • NL Contest (France): A spectacular return to Strasbourg, bringing freestyle trampoline front and center alongside skate, BMX, and parkour.

  • Mandurah Action Sports Games (Australia): A stunning coastal showcase that blended freestyle with surf culture.

  • Ekstremsportveko (Norway): One of the biggest action sports gatherings in Europe, with FTA athletes performing to massive crowds.

  • GTGamesEU (Austria) & GTGamesANZ (New Zealand): Athlete-led events that perfectly captured the spirit of the freestyle community.

  • X Games Salt Lake City (USA): Our debut presence with demos and athlete signings — a major milestone that opened new partnerships for 2026.

  • World Championships in Barcelona: Once again hosted with our partners at Extreme Barcelona and Urban World Series, the event drew a record number of 93 athletes from 21 countries, introduced new divisions, and crowned new World Champions in every category.

Night of the Jumps: Freestyle Goes Global

This summer also marked a major step forward in our partnership with the Night of the Jumps series in Germany — one of the world’s longest-running and most respected freestyle motocross events. FTA athletes were featured in a new halftime trampoline showcase, introducing thousands of FMX fans to the creativity and athleticism of freestyle trampoline.

With shows in major German arenas, this collaboration gave our athletes professional exposure, travel experience, and the opportunity to perform alongside some of the biggest names in action sports. The response was phenomenal — audiences loved it, and organizers have already confirmed plans to expand the FTA segment in 2026, creating an ongoing European tour that blends FMX, acrobatics, and entertainment under one roof.

Every event this season proved that the freestyle community is stronger and more united than ever. Together, we’re building a global movement.
