The Magic of Night of the Jumps

What makes Night of the Jumps such a standout event? It’s more than just a showcase of talent—it’s an immersive experience that combines the raw power of extreme sports with the creativity and theatricality of live entertainment. Athletes didn’t just perform; they became storytellers, weaving narratives of flight, risk, and reward in front of captivated audiences.

The two-hour shows, held on Saturday nights, featured daring FMX, BMX and Scooter jumps, with high-flying action, along with the FTA's choreographed routines that highlighted the unique skills of each athlete. A high-energy halftime performance ensured there wasn’t a dull moment in the packed arenas. This wasn’t just a competition; it was a celebration of what makes freestyle trampoline one of the most "fun to watch" new action sports.

Athlete Dedication Shines

The athletes who participated embodied the spirit of dedication and artistry that defines the sport. Traveling in from across Europe, they committed not only to performing but also to rigorous Saturday rehearsals that ensured the precision and creativity fans expect from Night of the Jumps. Representing the FTA, they donned their signature FTA Night of the Jumps t-shirts, proudly showcasing the collaborative spirit of the event.

Many thanks to the athletes who participated this year, including: Milco Abrahams (Team Leader), Luuk Swinkels, Brin Lebin, Abraham Zigler-Fourie, Matti König, Lennie, Robin Steiner & Niklas Distler.

These athletes went beyond the technical mastery of their routines—they connected with the audience, demonstrating why freestyle trampoline is a sport driven by passion, creativity, and community.

A Model of Organization and Partnership

The success of Night of the Jumps was made possible by seamless collaboration between the FTA and the NOTJ event organizers. Every detail was meticulously planned. By creating an environment that allowed athletes to focus on their craft, the FTA ensured the shows were unforgettable for both participants and spectators.

Social media also played a significant role, with athletes tagging @nightofthejumps, @ftaworldchampionships and @eurotramp in their posts to extend the event’s reach and bring the excitement to fans worldwide. The engagement was phenomenal, with clips and stories shared from the shows garnering thousands of likes and views.
